Whether you want to work with us regularly or can only invest a little time now and then, we welcome every helping hand. We have put together a few ways you can get involved on this page. Alternatively, you can simply get in touch with us!
Take part in our meetings
Anyone who has been accepted for a doctorate can actively participate in DoKUS. Just drop by one of the next meetings. Here you can vote on decisions and have your say, but you can also suggest agenda items yourself, which will then be discussed at the meeting. As we would like to announce the agenda in good time before the meeting, your written request for the agenda should be sent to us by email at least eight days before the meeting. We will announce the meeting dates on our homepage as soon as they have been confirmed.

- Through DoKUS-Info, we provide doctoral students with up-to-date information about doctoral studies at the University of Stuttgart.
- Through DoKUS-Sitzung, we send meeting participants and interested parties invitations, agendas, and minutes of our meetings, for example.
Candidate in the elections
Have you always wanted to be involved in where decisions are actually made? Then consider running for a seat on the Senate or the large faculty council of your faculty, or in the general meeting of your cluster of excellence! Every year, we need enough candidates not only to fill the seats, but also to have enough deputies in case an elected member is unable to attend a meeting, for example due to work commitments.
